Honestly, the situation on Instagram is extremely frustrating! A platform of this size, with millions of Arabic users, yet there is still no Arabic language option. It’s unbelievable that less widely spoken languages receive full support, while Arabic is treated as secondary or unimportant.
This isn’t just a delay in updates—it’s clear neglect. The experience for Arabic users is incomplete: the interface is inconsistent, some features don’t work properly, and massive Arabic content is treated as if it’s an “extra option.”
Honestly? Arabic users deserve full and proper support. Instagram is a global platform, and the Arabic-speaking audience is a significant part of it, so this continued neglect is unacceptable.

I recently decided to delete Instagram because the app now feels like a blatant clone of TikTok, with the interface, buttons, and navigation all designed to mimic it, which I find extremely frustrating. There’s almost no real engagement; it feels like there are bots everywhere, and it’s very demotivating to post anything. The interface is confusing and pushy, forcing Reels and short videos at the top, making it hard to enjoy the original photo-sharing experience. Overall, Instagram seems weak and unoriginal, copying other companies’ ideas instead of innovating. Not happy with the latest iPad update. Please bring back the previous version — it was much better. The new interface now looks like a web view on Google, and it’s harder to navigate. Honestly, the new layout on the larger screen doesn’t feel comfortable at all and makes browsing less smooth. The design doesn’t really take advantage of the iPad’s screen size properly, and from my experience, the mobile interface was much better and far easier to navigate. It felt more fluid, simple, and user-friendly. The current iPad version, however, feels heavy and disrupts the whole experience. Urgent Request for Human Review on Serious Account Bans
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with how Instagram handles severe account bans, especially when accusations are as serious as “child abuse.”
My accounts were all permanently disabled following a coordinated mass-report attack — an unfair and hurtful punishment for something I did not do. Despite being a minor, Instagram’s system immediately took action without any human review or investigation. This automated decision has caused me immense distress, as I was wrongfully accused of a crime I cannot possibly commit.
It is unacceptable that such diabolical accusations are handled solely by bots and algorithms. Instagram must implement mandatory human reviews for any serious violations that have life-altering consequences for users. False reports can destroy innocent people’s lives, especially young users like me who rely on the platform for social connection and mental well-being.
I urge Instagram to reconsider its approach and put in place safeguards that ensure fairness and justice. No one should be silenced or erased without a fair hearing by a real person.

DM improvement suggestion
I’d love to suggest a helpful improvement for Instagram DMs. It would be great if there was an option to jump to a specific date in a conversation. The current search function takes you to a message with the searched word, but the ability to scroll through the rest of the conversation is very limited.
Please consider adding a “go to date” feature along with full scroll access throughout the chat history. It would make navigating long conversations much easier.

Not being able to switch to a private account
Seriously??
I’m trying to switch my Instagram account from a professional (business/creator) account back to a personal account, but the app won’t allow me to do so. I’ve followed all the steps (Settings → Account → Switch Account Type → Switch to Personal Account), but nothing happens when I tap the option, or it doesn’t appear at all.
I’ve already tried updating the app, clearing the cache, unlinking Facebook, and reinstalling, but the issue persists!!! I’m not allowed to switch my account into a personal account? That’s my most basic rights and most basic application command ever when such a thing is bugging and malfunctioning???

What an awful experience
I cant even start on how cruel this app is, ive been trying to contact meta, or any type of costumer support for months now. My account got wrongfully disabled suddenly, ive had this account for over a decade and suddenly i wake up to a disabled account. I thought this problem could be fixed since instagram was a famous social media platform of course it would offer great costumer support, well thats completely wrong. Ive tried every website every form not a single respond from instagram, even when i try to contact meta from meta verified i have to wait MONTHS to get accepted? I’m reaching out because it's been quite a while since I’ve lost access to my account, and I’m feeling REALLY frustrated. I’ve been trying to recover it for what feels like ages, but I haven’t seen any progress. Why don't you open the way for customers to communicate with you when their accounts are hacked? Why do you complicate the issue and make it easy for hacking? The account is hacked and two-factor authentication is activated and you set a simple deadline for the account recovery link on the email. There are many whose accounts are hacked and they do not pay attention to the email until it is too late. The link was valid for 7 days and becomes valid for hours. What does it do? I despise this app. They banned me because they assumed I was a “ robot “ , and I WISH that the banned me on one account. No. More like THREE?! For what??? Assuming i’m a robot! I have a really really bad problem in instagram, i love it! its one of my favorite apps, but i have a problem that doesnt even allow me to watch any reels. not EVEN one, the problem is that i can do anything but it says “Were sorry, but something went wrong. Hear me out, don’t get me wrong, instagram is cool and all, but when you have a serious problem like a account hack, this is were the line of instagram stops, they don’t help at all, even after sending them 3 reports, i still don’t get any texts or emails back from them, and i hope they add a extra layer of protection on all our accounts and keep them safe for good, because we give them data unlike any app we’ve seen before, it must and needs to have another kind of protection that no one can access it unless its us.

Why was my account suspended?
I was wandering between the pages of the reels until it seemed to refuse to share my comments even though I had never commented with an obscene comment before?! Then he suspended my entire account and gave me a deadline to correct things or process correctly. I tried to correct the strange misunderstanding, but he asked me for a phone number and I don't have a phone number! I don't blame Instagram, and I believe that they work in good faith, but to suspend my account unjustly or accuse me of posting bad ideas, something that made me feel really upset, especially since I have friends who are worried anyway, so I hope that my account will not be suspended forever 😖

They keep censoring Palestinian content
Many of the stories i share about Palestine are being removed. For reasons that’re completely contradictory. When I post stories about innocent children being hurt, clarifying the intention that I posted this story because I was trying to raise awareness to the public of what’s happening in Gaza, but Instagram constantly interprets my stories as me encouraging violence, when the whole point is for me to show the public who’s committing it in order for them to understand who’s committing therefore they can stay away from the ones who are committing, and yes, am talking about Israel.
It’s really disgusting how they constantly interpret what I share the way they want while constantly removing my stories & sending me warnings
Which is by the way a problem many Pro-Palestinians have faced.

Paid for verification and ads- my account has been frozen for 5 days
My account has been frozen for 5 days. I cannot open any of my messages, but I can see that I am receiving them. My customers have been writing to me and I cannot reply, they must think I’m some kind of scammer. I am a paying customer to instagram, I have a verified account and I pay for ads regularly. I’ve come to rely on this app for my business and now I will have to reimburse my customers (Ehm LOSE MONEY) for disappearing for so long and such late delivery of product.
When I sign into my personal account, it takes me to my business account. I can’t put up a story or post, but I can comment and like other posts. I can’t send “report a problem”, and when I try to call the call center, it tells me to go to the website. The website doesn’t cover my problem. HELP!

Hi! It has been probably 2 years I have been using this app on my IPhone SE. Everything was going good until last night after 2 hours I deleted Instagram app from my phone I happened to see some of my friends on my suggest list in Photos. Which was very terrifying. I like instgram and i love sharing my life in it
But theres a couple of things that would make instagram a whole lot better
Like removing or adding or changing songs in old stories the adding and changing part aren’t as important as the removing part, please please please consider adding a choice that allows to remove songs from stories that were already posted before
The second suggestion is to put old stories on close mode, if i posted a pic a year ago and i no longer want it public and i also don’t wanna delete it and post it again it would be amazing if there was a choice to add it to close pleeeeeeease

We all should have the right of speech in this app and we should post anything we want which is appropriate and isn't harming anyone or any culture so I don't understand why the posts about Palestine are getting deleted or are not getting shared as much as other posts and also showing as warnings and videos that are absolutely fine just because it mentions Palestinians or so!! Worst app EVER
I don't know how can one app be worse and worse every update. Things that I hate are the following:
1. If you leave the app more than 10 seconds you are returned to home page where all the suffering began with this app, and lose the account you have been browsing.
2. I think instagram thinks that your liked posts will harm you if you look at them so they are doing a very good job at hiding it. This has been going on for years (for me). Every time I know where to find them ther are like nope we are changing that.
3. When watching reels and i want to replay the video i go to the next and come back to the one I was watching like most of the apps, but apparently not insta. I try waiting a second or two in the new vid but still nothing.
4. The bar where you can forward the reel and rewind is so thin you have to be a 2D character to catch it and its not in all vids.
5. If I see a vid but its in the home page it doesn't replay on its own and you have to tab. We all know why so you would watch more reels bc insta is advertising those reels. It is so annoying!!
Insta you will never be TIKTOK you are making the app worse and worse.
For someone who has been using the app more than 10 YEARS you really are making it worse with every update. I hope my review will make the team think twice about the app.

Separate close stories+ podcast feature
Since instagram is always going towards perfection and having all the best features among social media apps, i think adding these two features would even make a lot better. 1\ adding the feature of different close stories; we can make more than one close story and name them as well(we can choose the color of the story, not only green) cuz sometimes we want to post some stories but have to change the viewers according to the story so it would be really nice to have separate close stories
2\ the ability to have podcast content is really great too (making the user able to listen to the podcast even when the phone is turned off is a great recommended feature too) even for singers to be able to uploade thier songs without a background is great

I’ve been seeing bad reviews about insta and I’m not sure about downloading insta anymore I might but with all these bad reviews i don’t really know and none of them have been answered so umm can you answer some of these reviews and give good customer service then I might actually download it and umm can you ban haters cuz I saw a bad review on haters a while back and you should add a question button where you can put a question in and you can answer it so everyone can have there questions answered quick and easily and some people quite insta cuz the raged of not finding out about something but overall it seems like an ok app and I’m not a hater I’m just pointing out things you could work on that anyone would miss

ios update problem on iPad.
Hello. Ive had this problem for a while now, so i thought it’s about time i write about it. this isn’t usual, but i usually use instagram on iPad. When iOS16 came out, i updated my ipad to it. when i opened instagram after the update, instagram looked very narrow, which is okay butwhen viewing stories, the side corners are cut therefore i cannot see/read the entire thing in full picture. Speaking of stories, i cannot post stories from my ipad anymore, nor record/share reels. i hopee they can fix this issue ASAP. I’ve reported this issue to instagram too but no response yet.

Story problem
Instagram is my all time favorite social app i use it everyday literally. There is a problem tho, The feature the i mostly use is story, i like to share what I'm doing atm and record videos, but sometimes those videos don't get posted. It does say "uploading" but after a few seconds it fails and there would be a red banner saying "failed. Try again" my wifi is good and my phone is fine. It used to happen rarely but now it's always happens and it's really frustrating cuz I recorded nice videos from the story and wanted to post it but they get deleted.
Edit: It seems that not only me but alot of people are having some specific issues when it comes to story, like sound not working when adding a song, I also been through that. There is also an issue when you want to share a reel to your story it doesn't have sound and it lags a little but when the reel video replays it's fine. I've been using Instagram for a very long time specially the last 2 years i was constantly using it cuz ofc it's my favorite app and my favorite feature is story so I want it to work with no issues like ones i talked about.

I have an idea and I hope it will be implemented.. What do you think if you put the feature of deleting the conversation from both parties and the conversation becomes unavailable for both parties, here is a notice that the conversation has been deleted from this person.

It gives the freedom of speech to everyone but anyone who is against cruel actions and believes Palestinians deserve the same human rights / land they own as other people in foreign countries. It also happens to practice terrorism within allowing people to post about how Palestinians "don't deserve rights and land." Log-In Problem
Can you fix the problem where I can't log-in to my existed account. I closed instagram because I thought my internet is intentionally weak or cut out but when I opened the other social medias, it's normal to me (which is no crashes or glitches at all). When I opened the instagram again, it got crashed and it says "Couldn't reload" at the bottom and decided to restart my device. After restarting, I opened it again and it's still popped out as an error. After that, I decided to uninstall then download it again, then I tried to log-in, and it pops out as "Error. we're sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again".

There is no Service
Instagram being the most used social media in the world and they don't have a freaking support team not a service we can rely on? There is literally 0 way to contact instagram through anything. We can never talk to anyone its just all automated emails and bots seriously. I used my instagram account since years and now its just disabled for idk what reasons and then i cant even contact a single person nor i am getting any info on how i can get back my account. My account name is ( ubye ).

Great app. Very fun to use.
I just love Instagram. I am a food blogger and the only thing I hate is that some people take a screenshot of my photo and post it on their feed without giving credit. I would highly appreciate if instagram could introduce a option where u have an option “disable screenshot” or something like that before an user posts something. That’s it. Other than that, I am enjoying using instagram and the best part is that you can find your long lost friend here. Instagram truly brings people together. What a great app!

I follow 900 accounts but only is able to see 4 on my wall, following an account means that I want to know what they’re up to and not liking two or three posts doesn’t mean that I’ve lost interest it’s boring to see content from the same pages and not being able to stay up to date to what’s happening with everyone I’m following i hope you give me the liberty to select which accounts i wanna see on my feed not you select yourself
